Here’s how I help women do it holistically:

 

1. Mitochondrial Support for Egg Health

Egg cells, or oocytes, are the most mitochondria-rich cells in the entire human body—each one containing over 100,000 mitochondria. This is no accident. Mitochondria are the energy powerhouses of the cell, and egg cells require a tremendous amount of energy to complete their development, mature properly, and eventually support fertilization and early embryonic growth.

During ovulation and fertilization, and especially in the crucial days following conception, an egg undergoes rapid and complex divisions. This process is energetically demanding, and it all depends on healthy, well-functioning mitochondria to provide a steady supply of ATP—the cellular currency of energy. If mitochondrial function is impaired due to oxidative stress, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, or environmental toxins, the egg may fail to mature, fertilize, or divide correctly, reducing the chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy.
